Traditional Stone Mosque with Green Domes & Arched Portico

Traditional Stone Mosque with Green Domes & Arched Portico

01. Project Overview

This mosque takes a traditional route — warm stone-clad walls, a pair of green-tiled pyramidal domes over the prayer hall, and a tall stone minaret with a domed cupola. A horseshoe-arch portico with glowing chandelier lighting marks the main entrance, set beneath decorative geometric window screens that carry light out onto the façade at night.

02. Exterior Design

Twin green-tiled pyramidal domes with finial spires sit over a warm stone-clad prayer hall, its walls patterned with a fine diamond lattice relief and pierced geometric window screens that glow from the interior lighting at night. A projecting horseshoe-arch portico, hung with a decorative chandelier, marks the main entrance beneath a stepped cornice. A tall square minaret rises beside the hall, its upper section detailed with tracery windows and topped by a small green dome and crescent finial.

03. Landscaping & Setting

Palms and low ornamental planting frame the entrance approach, with garden bollard lighting along the perimeter walkway and a boundary wall separating the site from the street.
