Modern Villa with Folded Roof Canopy
01. Project Overview
This modern villa is defined by a sharply folded, black-fascia roof canopy that cantilevers out over both wings of the house, its underside lit by a continuous LED strip. Warm timber vertical fins break up a cream stucco façade, and full-height glazing runs across both levels, giving the entrance and living spaces a strong indoor-outdoor connection.

02. Exterior Design
A black fascia roof folds sharply at the building's corner, forming twin cantilevered canopies that shade the entrance and upper-floor glazing beneath a continuous strip of downlighting. Vertical timber fins run the full height of the façade at regular intervals, breaking up an otherwise smooth cream stucco surface, while floor-to-ceiling glazing at both levels — some framed in matching timber, some left as plain black-framed glass — keeps the elevation feeling open rather than boxy. A low black stone plinth grounds the composition at street level.
